I am a British lady living in Mumbai, when I started this blog in November 2012 I had been living in Mumbai for 1 year and was 5 months pregnant. When I found out I was pregnant I was surprised by the lack of information and resources for western and foreign mums in Mumbai. In order to try and help you through your pregnancy and early childhood years, I thought I would document what I have found and where.

We had our baby girl, Annabelle, at Ambani Hospital in Andheri in April 2013. We had a great experience and hope that, if you choose to have your baby here, you will too.

I’m still a novice to blogging so do get in touch if you have suggestions and feedback.

Enjoy….I hope!

  1. Hi! I just stumbled across your blog, very useful information! I am in a pretty similar situation……Planning to relocate to mumbai in July of this year, will be 7 months preggers, and was actually trying to find options for ob’s and hospitals… We will be moving from manhattan. Would love to get in touch with you, so do drop me an email!

    • Hello there,
I fell upon your blog when my friend Cheryl McNall ‘liked’ your facebook page. I am from Mumbai but have been living in NYC/ Singapore ten and one year respectively. We are moving to Mumbai in October 2013 for a period of 6-8 months and even though I am from the city and still have family living there, I have a few questions/ research that I’d like to independently conduct before we make the move. Is there an email where I can get in touch with you?

  2. Hi there!
I’m travelling to Mumbai with my seven-month old daughter and my husband in two weeks and would also love to get in touch with you. I am very happy to have found your positive blog as everybody has been telling me it’s irresponsible to take an infant to India. I have some questions (breastfeeding, water, travelling by car) and it’d be great if you could help me out.
